This error occurs due to conflicts with the Adobe ID. It can have several causes:
- No authorization or incorrect authorization with your Adobe ID
Delete the Adobe ID using the combination[CTRL] + [SHIFT] + [d], and then authorize the computer again.
- The acsm file choses the wrong default software to open the file
Use the "open with" function to open this file type with Adobe Digital Editions (ADE).
- You have several installed versions of ADE on your computer
If several versions of ADE are installed on your computer, conflicts may occur. Uninstall all other versions except the most recent one.
