This error message indicates that the title has already been transferred to your device, for example when you borrowed the title in the past.

If some data from the previous borrowing still persists (e.g. the old .acsm file), the system assumes that the loan period for the title has already expired and does not acknowledge the more recent download.

Please proceed as following:

  • Check that the date and time on your device are set correctly
  • Delete the old eBook file from all of your devices.
  • If the error message is still displayed, there might still be a temporary file somewhere on your device that prevents the new download. Please delete the cache of your Onleihe app or the used reading app.
